About this bot

In short: This bot checks if a certain link is present on a list of different web pages.

How to check link presence?

This bot scans one or multiple websites for the presence of a certain URL. This may be useful in a number of scenarios, such as carrying out a QA for link builders who were assigned to publish your URL on 100+ websites.

Link Detector allows checking if the links exist, work and direct the user to the intended destination URL.

Bot setup

Input the URL that you would like the tool to scan for.

By ticking a corresponding checkbox, you can make the bot search for all links under your domain instead of just checking for the exact URL you’ve entered.

The last step is to set up the way you’d like to receive notifications:

  • E-mail;
  • Slack;
  • Telegram.

Advantages of Link Detector

The tool saves a good deal of effort by automating a rather time-intensive task of checking multiple websites manually. It’s especially useful when there are 50-100 websites that require checking – a disproportionately large time investment for something as routine. Additionally, the tool gives you a way to periodically check if the URL is still present and hasn’t been deleted.

To use this bot you need to register or log in first.
