- Recreational Centers - These facilities, which may include gyms, sports centers, and community centers, require regular cleaning to ensure a safe and welcoming space for visitors.
- Corporate Offices - From tech companies to financial institutions, corporate offices need routine cleaning to keep workspaces tidy and presentable.
- Co-working Spaces - These spaces host multiple businesses and freelancers, and they require frequent cleaning to maintain shared areas like conference rooms, lounges, and kitchens.
Reaching out to businesses in these categories will typically give you a higher chance of finding offices in need of cleaning services and other cleaning gigs quickly.
How to search for businesses that need cleaning services
When it comes to finding offices needing cleaning services, there are basically 2 ways to go about it. One is the manual way which is stressful, cumbersome, time-consuming, and mentally draining. I wouldn’t recommend that; not even for a competitor.

From my experience offering services to businesses and individuals, I know companies bring better business. So this strategy focuses on finding any kinds of business that need cleaning services, not individuals or homes. That is why, as I’ve said earlier, we’ll only be looking for gyms in this guide, but feel free to adapt the steps to find any other business.
To find these gyms, the first tool I’ll be introducing is a powerful bot called the Google Maps Scraper.
This bot can find a list of businesses within a city based on a search keyword you provide and extract information about them such as address, website, phone number, and more to a spreadsheet. That’s what makes it the perfect tool for finding which offices need cleaning services - Hornsby (which is our example case) or any other city.

Once you start the Google Maps Scraper, the “My jobs” page will open and you’ll see the bot running. Once the bot is done, you can download the file to your computer for analysis which should give you this:

Tips
- First, I’ll recommend searching for physical companies not only by city as we did in the first bot but also by district and by ZIP code. Simply attach the district or ZIP code to the search keyword. For example, use the following format to find companies needing post construction cleaning 76021:
- gym 76021
- accounting company 76021
- restaurant 76021
- etc.
- I also recommend using the extracted phone numbers for cold calling. But before that, be sure to validate the numbers using the Phone Number Validator.
- I’ll also recommend using the extracted company websites to find their emails with the Company Email Finder and sending your cleaning offer to them via email. This shouldn’t take a minute:
- Launch the Company Email Finder's start page
- Paste a list of domains (copy the domains extracted by the Google Maps Scraper and remove https and www)
- Launch the bot
- Once you get the email list, check the validity of the extracted emails using the Email Validator.

Tool 2 for finding companies in need of cleaning services BY RADIUS
Quickly, let me show you a second bot and method of approach to your lead generation.
With the first method above, we were able to export businesses in the city we are targeting. But say you are interested in finding a business needing cleaning services within a particular neighborhood; say a driving distance from your office, how would you do that?
That’s where the Google Maps by Radius Finder comes in. This tool can perform a radius search on Google Maps based on a search query and export the results into an Excel file in bulk.
This bot and the one I described earlier function identically. The only difference is that the Google Maps by Radius Finder scrapes results by radius, e.g. around your own physical office, and provides a maximum of 20 results only whereas the first bot provides a maximum of 200 results but can’t do it based on the radius.
Follow the steps below to find what companies need cleaning services in your area using the Google Maps by Radius Finder:
- Launch the Google Maps by Radius Finder’s start page and name your job as described earlier.
- Enter a search query in the field titled “Keywords” (e.g. gym):
- Enter your search radius. Note that it’s in meters:
- Next, enter your location or a landmark nearby as the central location of your search. (Note: to use your own business name, your business must be visible on Google Maps):
- Launch the bot into action, and voila! It’s all set and done.
Now, you only need to wait for the bot to grab your results so you can download the file for analysis.

- First, I’ll recommend finding the websites of these companies that need cleaners by using their names in the Google First Result Finder. The Google First Result Finder is designed to export the first Google result for a list of search phrases you provide:
- Launch the Google First Result Finder's start page
- Enter a target location (Hornsby, in my case)
- Set the bot to skip Facebook and Wikipedia links
- Copy every entry under “name” in the result file from the Google Maps by Radius Finder and paste them into this bot.
- Launch the bot!

- Once you have the website URLs of these offices that need cleaning services, use the extracted company websites to find their phones and emails using the Phone, Email, and Contact Scraper and send your offer to them via email or by phone:

- Paste a list of website URLs
- Select which elements to extract (e.g. email and phone)
- Set how many pages the bot should scan
- Start the bot!
